This analyser displays the calculated oxygen partial pressure in a pressurised compartment. It uses the percentage oxygen reading from a gas sample and a pressure signal to calculate the oxygen partial pressure. Its primary display is oxygen partial pressure, a secondary display showing oxygen percentage and the absolute pressure in the compartment can also be shown.
The sensor in this analyser is a fluorescence quenching oxygen sensor: it is designed as an alternative to an electrochemical sensor, with benefits of RoHS compliance, longer life and higher resolution. This type of sensor uses a non-depleting sensing technology, which gives the sensor a very stable output and long operational lifetime.
All analysers in the SAT-5 range include: built in sample flow controller, electronic flow meter with flow failure alarm and barometrically compensated readings. They also have built in black box recording and Ethernet connectivity as standard.
All the SAT-5 instruments are fully configurable from their touch screen user interface. Important settings are password protected to prevent unauthorised adjustment.
This analyser includes a fail-safe relay contact that will disconnect the power to an oxygen control valve in the event of a high partial pressure of oxygen being detected. It’s an ideal companion instrument for our oxygen controller.
