Fluorescence Quenching Oxygen Analyser and Depth Monitor

The SAT-5 oxygen and depth analyser uses a fluorescence quenching oxygen sensor and a 4-20mA pressure transmitter. This instrument’s application is primarily for oxygen end of line analysis and diver depth monitoring. This dual display unit saves space and provides both outstanding performance and value for money.

The historical depth profile graph and maximum depth indication is a useful feature for monitoring the diver’s progress. High and low alarms can be set on both oxygen and depth. The depth readings can be changed from MSW to FSW without recalibration.

All analysers in the SAT-5 range include: barometric and temperature compensated readings, a built in sample flow controller and electronic flow meter with flow failure alarm. An Ethernet connection is fitted as standard enabling the user to interface the instruments with computerised data storage software. An inbuilt “black box” recorder stores 12 months of data and user interaction onto a 1GB micro SD card; this feature provides a useful audit trail.

All the SAT-5 instruments are fully configurable from their touch screen user interface. Important settings are password protected to prevent unauthorised adjustment.

The oxygen sensor technology used in this analyser is a fluorescence quenching sensor that benefits from high stability, long operational life and RoHS compliance. The 4-20mA pressure sensor input uses a high precision isolated conversion for maximum performance.
