Partial Pressure Oxygen Monitor (mA)

Description

The SAT-5 Oxygen partial pressure monitor uses an electro-chemical oxygen sensor connected to a 4-20mA transmitter with local display that is located inside the pressure compartment to be monitored. The transmitter connects to the surface display unit using a single twisted screened pair cable.

The monitor will display oxygen levels are in the range of 0 – 2.000 bar with one millibar resolution. The monitor has a history page that will display a graph of oxygen partial pressure against time with selectable time spans of between 20 minutes and 24 hours.

An internal “black box” recorder stores 12 months’ worth of data including user interactions on a micro SD card; this feature provides a useful audit trail.

Ethernet and isolated 4-20mA output connections are fitted as standard to interface the instrument with data visualisation and storage software.

The SAT-5 instruments are fully configurable from their touch screen user interface. Important settings are password protected to prevent unauthorised adjustment.

This instrument is suitable for remote monitoring of oxygen partial pressure typically in diving bells and SPHLs where the sensor is located a long distance from the primary display.
